PROJECT OVERVIEW We are looking for a Strong Middle/Senior QA Engineer (Manual + Automation) to work on Summa — an AI-powered SaaS platform that automates up to 80% of accounting and tax tasks for firms in Israel. In this role, you will lead QA efforts, combining manual and automated testing for complex web applications. You’ll collaborate with developers, product managers, and UI/UX teams to ensure high product quality. Experience with AI-based systems is required. Fintech background is a plus. The product is live, approved by the Israeli Tax Authority, and in active long-term development.
Summa is a cloud-based platform designed to transform the operations of accounting firms and tax consultants in Israel. By automating routine technical and administrative tasks, Summa enables professionals to focus on strategic and analytical aspects of their work, reducing operational hours by up to 80%. The platform leverages advanced technologies like machine learning, artificial intelligence, and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to optimize processes such as auditing, bookkeeping, tax reporting, and office management. Fully compliant with Israeli regulations and approved by the Israel Tax Authority, Summa aims to create a paperless, efficient, and cost-effective environment for accounting professionals. As part of the Summa team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the platform’s functionality, improving its user experience, and ensuring it remains at the forefront of technology in the accounting industry. REQUIREMENTS * 4+ years of experience in QA engineering (manual + automation). * Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. * Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar). * Experience testing AI-based features — ability to understand ML workflows is a plus. * Knowledge of REST APIs, browser dev tools, and debugging techniques. * Fintech experience — a strong advantage. * English B2+.
RESPONSIBILITIES * Plan, design, and execute test cases for web-based SaaS applications. * Implement and maintain test automation frameworks. * Identify and report bugs, track resolutions, and verify fixes. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline. * Contribute to product quality improvements and risk analysis. * Participate in AI-based feature testing and validation.
