Requirements: * 5+ years as a Business Analyst in software delivery, 3+ in healthcare (provider, payer, or healthtech). * Proven strength in stakeholder elicitation, outcome framing, and concise analytical writing. * Interoperability fluency: FHIR/HL7 v2, REST/OpenAPI; familiarity with EHR/EMR ecosystems (Epic, Cerner, athenahealth, etc.). * Compliance mindset: HIPAA/PHI; exposure to SaMD/IEC 62304/ISO 14971 is a plus. * Tooling: Jira/Confluence, Miro/Lucid, Figma, Postman/Swagger; basic SQL/analytics. * English: Advanced (C1+), confident with U.S. stakeholders.
Your responsibilities: * Elicit and clarify business needs, target outcomes/KPIs, constraints, and success criteria. * Frame value hypotheses and define how value will be verified post-release (metrics, signals, timelines). * Produce a structured requirements set: epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, NFRs, and assumptions. * Map user journeys and service interactions; define scope boundaries and phased value delivery. * Maintain end-to-end traceability (needs → stories/acceptance → outcomes). * Capture integration needs and interface specs (FHIR/HL7 v2, SMART on FHIR, OAuth/OIDC). * Document privacy/security expectations: HIPAA, PHI handling, consent, audit/logging, retention. * Note data quality rules, reporting requirements, and analytics readiness. * Participate in discovery sessions and pre-sales calls to validate needs, risks, and constraints. * Provide estimation inputs via scope clarity, complexity drivers, and dependency notes. * Contribute requirements and acceptance criteria to SoW/proposal artifacts.
