We’re rapidly growing and are excited to invite QA Automation Engineer to join our Paycord team. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader capable of making daily decisions, diving deep into details, while keeping the broader business strategy in focus and ensuring seamless performance across all functions.
Required skills and expertise: •3+ years of commercial experience in test automation and quality assurance; •Advanced programming skills in JavaScript and TypeScript; •Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or similar framework; •Strong experience with client-server architecture and REST API; •Strong experience with SQL databases; •Strong understanding of SDLC and best practices in the software development process (code reviews, CI/CD, etc.); •Experience of setting up automation frameworks from scratch; •Deep knowledge of test automation processes and approaches; •Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies; •Experience with working on complex projects that require a deep understanding of the application business logic and dependencies.
You would be running such tasks as: •Cooperating with fellow Automation Test Engineers to improve the tooling and frameworks; •Working closely with Software/Test Engineers and Product Managers across the project to understand the context and drive automation and testing to meet the objectives; •Working on the continuous integration of the test scripts and driving your Squad towards continuous testing; •Design and implement automated test scripts using Playwright framework to cover functional, regression, and UI testing. Ensure scripts are maintainable, scalable, and aligned with testing standards; •Continuous improvement of the testing approaches, practices and processes.
Nice to have: •Experience with performance testing; •Experience with payment processing, FinTech domain; •ISTQB certification or similar.
