About Top Netics
Top Netics is a venture builder that creates and launches tech products across MENA, Europe, and Africa — projects that solve real-world problems and scale fast.
We also act as a technical partner for selected clients — helping them design, build, and launch digital products from prototype to rollout.
The Role
We’re looking for a Trainee / Junior Golang Developer to join our engineering team.
You’ll work under the mentorship of a Senior Engineer, contributing to the development of backend features, bug fixing, and internal tools across various product teams.
This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a real-world environment with modern technologies and hands-on guidance.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain small features and fixes under supervision of senior developers.
* Participate in code reviews, daily standups, sprint plannings, and retrospectives.
* Work with REST APIs, JSON, SQL, and caching solutions (Redis).
* Support and update project documentation (Swagger).
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality code on time.
Required Skills & Experience
* 6+ months of experience with Go (commercial, internship, or strong pet projects).
* Understanding of goroutines, channels, context, JSON, SQL, Redis, and GitHub Actions.
* Basic knowledge of Git.
* Written English — Intermediate (ability to read documentation and write PR descriptions).
* Attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and openness to feedback.
Employment Terms
* Compensation: $500—800/month, depending on skills and experience.
* Full-time remote cooperation.
