We’re looking for React Native Frontend Engineer ready to make an impact! Join our dynamic team building an exciting UK-based platform that’s revolutionizing how cooks connect with customers — Cheffo. You’ll help craft seamless experiences — it’s in-home dining, doorstep delivery, or easy pickup-across both web and mobile.
⚙️ Requirements * 3+ years of experience developing mobile applications using React Native and web applications using NextJS (70% mobile, 30% web) * Familiarity with React Navigation and mobile lifecycle management * Experience with state management libraries * Experience with Redux Toolkit and RTK Query. * Experience integrating REST APIs * Solid knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS * Basic understanding of OOP and common Design Patterns * Experience working with Git or other version control systems * Ability to communicate effectively in English (B2) or higher * Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
Responsibilities * Develop and maintain cross-platform applications using React Native (~70% involvement) * Develop and maintain a web app using React and Next.js (~30% involvement) * Participate in requirements gathering and direct client interactions * Think out of the box to suggest improvements and technical solutions * Ensure code quality through reviews and testing practices * Debug and resolve issues in development and production environments * Coordinate with backend and mobile/web developers to deliver seamless user experiences
Nice to Have * Experience with react-native-animations, lottie-react-native, Tailwind * Experience with CI/CD tools and cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Vercel) * Understanding of SonarQube or other code quality platforms * Experience publishing apps to Google Play Store or Apple App Store * Familiarity with database and backend development * Experience with E2E testing tools such as Cypress * Experience owning technical initiatives * Ability to clearly communicate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Experience in delivering high-quality solutions with focus on performance, maintainability, and scalability.
