As an Infrastructure Lead, you will build and guide our newly formed Infrastructure Team, playing a foundational role in Readdle’s next stage of growth. Your mission will be to lead a crucial transition from daily operations to high-impact strategic projects that enhance our security, efficiency, and scalability. You’ll spearhead major initiatives like our ISO 27001 certification and the modernization of our core systems.
What will you do: * Lead, mentor, and grow a team of IT specialists, fostering a positive and collaborative environment. * Drive the team’s strategy, balancing day-to-day operational excellence with proactive, high-impact project work. * Lead infrastructure preparations for key security certifications, such as ISO 27001. * Oversee and lead key modernization projects, including the migration to a new MDM solution and the enhancement of our Jira Service Management. * Take ownership of core infrastructure services (Google Workspace, Atlassian suite, SSO, VPN) and key IT operations. * Oversee asset management, procurement, and the automation of employee onboarding/offboarding processes. * Collaborate closely with Engineering and DevOps teams to understand their infrastructure needs and provide crucial support. * Build a best-in-class IT infrastructure and a user-centric support experience for our employees.
About you: * A people-first and strategic mindset—you are passionate about leading teams and building processes that empower people. * 5+ years of experience in system administration or infrastructure management, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or mentorship capacity. * Solid, hands-on experience managing and securing devices within the Apple ecosystem. * Strong experience administering Jira (including JSM) and Google Workspace, with a focus on creating efficient workflows. * Proven experience with modern MDM solutions for an Apple-centric environment; experience with Kandji is a major plus. * Experience participating in or preparing for security audits like ISO 27001 is highly desirable. * Basic hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or GCP. * Strong communication skills with English at a B2 level and fluent Ukrainian. * Strong problem-solving skills and a resilient nature—you stay calm and proactive in unexpected situations. * A growth mindset—you’re open to feedback and constantly looking for ways to improve yourself and your team.
