REQUIREMENTS We’re looking for a Mobile QA Engineer who has * 5+ years of experience in General QA; * 2–3 years of experience as strictly mobile QA for native Android and iOS apps, ideally in Fintech or Trading domains; * Hands-on experience testing across real and virtual devices (various OS versions, locales, network types, orientations); * Strong knowledge of test documentation best practices (comprehensive and version-controlled test plans, traceability matrices, test cases, and checklists); * Solid command of GitLab workflows (merge requests, pipelines, code reviews); * Experience using AIO Test Management in Jira for maintaining test suites and execution history; * Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI, with the ability to compare request/response payloads; * Proficiency in Charles Proxy or Proxyman mitmproxy for network validation; * Experience in API testing with Postman; * Ability to conduct basic DB queries and inspect logs (Sentry, Xcode, command-line logs) to confirm data integrity; * Awareness of CI/CD processes using GitLab runners, including build verification and feature flagging; * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for defect triage, release notes, and cross-functional collaboration.
Nice to have * Experience with Gherkin/BDD tools (e.g., Cucumber, SpecFlow); * Knowledge of mobile accessibility testing (VoiceOver, TalkBack); * Familiarity with performance profiling tools (Android Studio Profiler, Xcode Instruments); * Deep-link and analytics validation experience (e.g., Firebase, Segment, Appsflyer); * Exposure to light automation frameworks (XCUITest, Espresso, Detox); * Understanding of security basics such as SSL pinning.
RESPONSIBILITIES As a Mobile QA Engineer, you will: * Create risk-based test strategies, plans, and traceability matrices; * Run various types of testing: functional, regression, exploratory, upgrade, and smoke testing across multiple device configurations; * Maintain structured test documentation using AIO Test in Jira; * Perform backend and integrational testing, using Postman, Swagger, and log inspection to validate data integrity; * Compare network traffic to API contracts and validate responses; * File detailed defects in Jira (with severity, repro steps, expected/actual results); * Own test jobs in GitLab CI, verify build artifacts, and conduct upgrade/rollback testing; * Sign off on release readiness, collaborating with stakeholders to make go/no-go decisions; * Prepare and publish concise test-run and release reports.
