We are looking for a Senior LAMP Developer to join the team on a full-time basis. You will be a part of a motivated team responsible for implementing new functionality and maintaining mission-critical systems for one of our technology platforms (Turbobridge, which underpins Evercall).
Key requirements:
● 5+ years of commercial software development experience
● 3+ years of professional experience with PHP (7.x/8.x), including OOP, namespaces, and modern frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
● Strong experience with MySQL, including query optimization, indexing strategies, and data modeling
● Solid knowledge of Linux server administration and shell scripting for development and deployment tasks
● Proficiency with Apache configuration, performance tuning, and security best practices
● Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services development
● Experience integrating and maintaining third-party APIs and services
● Strong debugging, profiling, and optimization skills across the LAMP stack
● Strong understanding of Node.js, component lifecycle methods, React Hooks, React Context API, and state management patterns and solutions
● Analytical and troubleshooting skills
● High level of responsibility and ability to work independently
● Strong communication and time management skills
● English level: Upper-Intermediate.
Would be a plus:
● Experience with: Docker, Kubernetes, Redis/Memcached, and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
● Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practices
● Knowledge of modern frontend technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Vue.js, React, or Angular)
● Experience with automated testing frameworks for PHP (PHPUnit, Codeception)
● Familiarity with security hardening and compliance in enterprise environments
● Working hours skewed later (Kyiv time).
Key responsibilities:
● Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance LAMP applications
● Take ownership of major features and drive optimization/refactoring projects targeting performance, scalability, and reliability improvements
● Collaborate with architects and product teams to design technical solutions that meet business requirements
● Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
● Optimize SQL queries and ensure efficient interaction with large datasets
● Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and knowledge sharing
● Research and evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and approaches to improve development efficiency and product capabilities
● Provide production support and troubleshoot complex system issues
● Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
