We’re partnering with a health-tech startup focused on improving patient experience in the mental health and therapy space. The product helps doctors provide better care and streamline user journeys through thoughtfully designed workflows and interfaces.
Team composition: Software Engineer, QA Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Delivery Manager
Project Highlights: * Work on a meaningful product that directly impacts the mental health space * Take ownership of UX and UI, shaping user journeys end-to-end * Engage in a client-facing role with real influence on the product direction
Scope of tasks and ownership: * Lead end-to-end product design cycles — from understanding user needs and ideating solutions to designing, prototyping, testing, and iterating after launch * Design mobile-first experiences for iOS and Android, following platform-specific patterns and best practices * Conduct user and business research, gather feedback, and translate insights into actionable design solutions * Design user journeys, workflows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes for new and existing features * Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (product managers, developers, QA) to define problems and create intuitive, engaging experiences * Maintain a consistent design system and contribute to its evolution * Translate data and insights into design decisions that drive user engagement and retention * Present design solutions and rationales to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively
What You’ll need: * 5+ years of experience in product/UI-UX design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating impactful work * Minimum of 3 UX case studies in the portfolio (not just UI visuals), showcasing clear problem definition, design process, and outcomes * Proven experience designing mobile-first experiences for iOS and Android, with attention to platform-specific patterns * Strong UI skills with attention to detail, visual hierarchy, typography, and interaction patterns * Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma) * Product-thinking mindset: ability to balance user needs with business goals and think beyond visuals * Excellent English communication skills — both spoken and written
Nice to have: * Familiarity with product analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude) or the ability to interpret analytics data * Experience in healthcare or mental health * Familiarity with data privacy and accessibility standards
