Who we need:
A Middle Frontend Engineer to join our product team and help us build exceptional user experiences. We are looking for a passionate developer who loves creating pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces and is eager to work on a product that impacts education in the US market.
Key Responsibilities: * Build modern, responsive user interfaces and features using React 18 and TypeScript * Create reusable, maintainable UI components with Tailwind CSS following design system principles * Collaborate closely with backend engineers on REST API integration and real-time WebSocket implementations * Ensure code performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility * Improve and maintain developer workflows using tools like ESLint, Prettier, and Storybook * Participate in sprint planning, task estimation, and technical discussions * Conduct code reviews and contribute to technical documentation * Optimize application performance and user experience metrics
Requirements: * 3+ years of proven experience as a Frontend Developer with focus on React ecosystem * Strong proficiency in React 18 (Hooks, Context API, functional components, Suspense) * Advanced TypeScript skills with understanding of generics, utility types, and type safety * Solid experience with Tailwind CSS and component-based styling approaches * Deep understanding of responsive web design and mobile-first development principles * Experience integrating REST APIs and handling asynchronous data flows * Proficiency in state management solutions (Context API, Redux Toolkit, or similar) * Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code * Strong debugging skills and experience with browser DevTools * Understanding of web performance optimization techniques * Experience with modern build tools (Vite/Webpack) and version control (Git) * Clearly stated salary expectations in your application
Nice to have: * Experience with WebSocket protocols and real-time data synchronization * Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress) * Experience with Storybook for component documentation * Knowledge of Web Accessibility standards (WCAG) * Understanding of SEO principles and Core Web Vitals * Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes * Experience in EdTech or social media platforms
