We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced System Engineer to maintain and develop our internal production infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a passion for ensuring that our infrastructure remains resilient and efficient and possess the skills and vision necessary to automate, optimize, and reduce costs associated with our infrastructure.
Requirements: * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field * At least 2 years of experience in network management, specifically with Mikrotik routers and switches, including a strong understanding of DHCP, DNS, VPN, VLAN, routing, switching, NAT, and bonding * Solid background in both Windows and Linux system administration * Proficiency in managing Active Directory and scripting with Bash and PowerShell * Experiencewith storage solutions and thorough understanding of backup and restoration strategies for complex environments * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities: * Participate in the design and execution of backup and restoration procedures * Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and lead resolution efforts * Maintain documentation for system architectures, configurations, procedures, and service records * Contribute to the continuous improvement of the IT operations by staying informed of new technologies and best practices
Will be a plus: * Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible or Puppet * Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker * Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions like Zabbix, Grafana, and Prometheus * Experience with VPN solutions like SoftEther
