About the Project:
We are working on a large-scale international product in the entertainment domain. The team follows a flat structure, so every developer takes ownership of the full cycle: from design and estimation to implementation, testing, and deployment. Most services are built with TypeScript (Nest.js, React.js), though there are some legacy parts on Express. Development is done in Kanban with trunk-based flow, covering requirements gathering, coding, deployment, and monitoring in production. The team is growing fast, launching new features and expanding into new markets.
Requirements: * 5+ years of experience as a backend Node.js developer (TypeScript & JavaScript, Express, Nest.js). * 4+ years of experience with RDBMS (PostgreSQL; experience with other DBs is a plus). * Experience with React.js (MobX, Redux). * Experience in high-load projects (must have). * Experience with Big Data is a plus. * Experience writing unit tests. * Hands-on experience with Docker. * Experience with microservices architecture. * Experience with CI/CD. * Understanding of design patterns. * English: Upper-Intermediate+ (required). * Experience with AWS is a strong plus.
Responsibilities * Design, develop, and maintain backend services with Node.js (Nest.js, Express) and frontend with React.js. * Work across multiple services (up to 4 simultaneously), covering both legacy and new codebases. * Participate in the full development cycle: requirements analysis, implementation, deployment, production monitoring. * Propose and implement optimizations, ensuring scalable, high-performance solutions. * Collaborate closely within a flat-structured, international team.
