Nexent Bank is building a dynamic Generative AI team to design and deliver cutting-edge AI solutions that enhance internal operations, customer experience, and developer productivity. We are seeking a Generative AI Developer who is passionate about AI and eager to contribute to building intelligent agents, copilots, and LLM-powered services, integrating them into our banking ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities * AI Agent & Copilot Development: * Design, build, and deploy AI agents and copilots for internal and customer-facing use cases. * Integrate AI capabilities into banking applications using natural language interfaces, intelligent automation, and smart routing. * Continuously refine solutions using performance data and user feedback. * Ownership & Maintenance: * Take end-to-end ownership of Gen AI services and applications. * Ensure operational reliability, scalability, and integration with Azure-based infrastructure. * Implement monitoring, versioning, and secure deployment practices. * Market Research & Technical Evaluation: * Track emerging Gen AI tools, frameworks, and APIs. * Conduct technical assessments of new technologies and prepare internal reports. * LLM Integration & Application: * Explore and integrate various LLM providers (e.g., OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Mistral, Cohere, Meta Llama) for banking-specific scenarios. * Contribute to building a hybrid/multi-model approach. * Data-Driven Model Enhancement (RAG & Fine-tuning): * Develop or integrate Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines to enhance contextual understanding of LLMs. * Participate in fine-tuning models using bank-specific data. * Measurement & Optimization: * Help define metrics and KPIs to assess solution adoption and impact. * Analyze interaction data to drive continuous improvement. * AI Fluency & Best Practices: * Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, including documentation, workshops, and awareness sessions on AI topics. * Support the adoption of AI-driven tools like Microsoft 365 Copilot and GitHub Copilot within engineering teams. * Ethical AI Awareness: * Collaborate with compliance, legal, and risk teams to ensure AI systems adhere to governance, transparency, and ethical standards.
Required Skills & Experience * 3+ years of software development experience, with a strong interest in AI/ML concepts and their application. * Strong proficiency in Python for building applications, data processing, and APIs. * Experience with React for building modern web applications. * Foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts, including a keen interest in Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and model evaluation. * Familiarity with, or a strong desire to learn, cloud-based AI services such as Azure AI services, Azure OpenAI, or similar platforms. * Exposure to or an eagerness to work with AI frameworks/libraries like LangChain, Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, or Haystack. * Basic understanding of data integration patterns for AI applications, including concepts behind RAG pipelines. * Knowledge of software development best practices, including monitoring, versioning, and secure deployment. * Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
Nice to Have * Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot or GitHub Copilot. * Familiarity with vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone, Azure AI Search, PG Vector). * Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for AI applications. * Prior experience in the banking or financial services sector.
