About the Role An international company with headquarters in Europe is looking for an experienced DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to strengthen its core engineering team. In this role, you will ensure the stability, scalability, and reliability of large-scale distributed systems, while also supporting developers in building and deploying new services. We are looking for someone who combines strong engineering fundamentals with a proactive approach to automation and reliability. Key Responsibilities * Ensure that online services are highly available, reliable, and performant. * Apply software engineering principles to design and maintain robust, scalable infrastructure. * Implement Infrastructure as Code practices for automated provisioning and scaling of cloud resources. * Build and operate large-scale, fault-tolerant distributed systems. * Design, set up, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, introducing quality gates and ensuring secure, controlled deployments from development to production. * Manage packaged software and deployment promotion through multiple environments. * Proactively monitor systems, detect issues, and troubleshoot incidents. * Collaborate closely with development teams to improve system design, performance, and reliability.
Requirements * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. * 3+ years of proven experience in DevOps, SRE, or similar roles. * Strong knowledge of distributed systems and computer science fundamentals. * Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform. * Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. * English proficiency — B2 level or higher.
Nice to Have * Experience with Web3 technologies such as Hedera Hashgraph, Ethereum, or other blockchain platforms. * Familiarity with modern observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.). * Experience with security best practices in distributed systems.
