About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned, hands-on Scrum Master to guide and coach distributed development teams. The role focuses on ensuring Agile principles and practices are effectively implemented while driving forward innovative Web3 initiatives.
Our client is
A Swiss-based Web3 technology and venture capital firm. The company operates within the Hedera Hashgraph ecosystem, developing enterprise-grade decentralized applications, blockchain solutions, and venture-building programs. They collaborate with governments, startups, and enterprises worldwide to accelerate their transition into the Web3 economy.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
* Coach and mentor 2–3 remote Agile teams using servant leadership principles.
* Promote self-organization, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
* Support teams in adopting DevOps best practices (CI/CD pipelines, automation, etc.).
* Identify and help remove impediments.
Process Management
* Set up and maintain Scrum boards for optimal visibility and workflow.
* Drive effective async communication strategies for distributed teams.
* Ensure alignment with Agile principles and adapt the Scrum framework to project needs.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement across projects.
Web3-Specific Duties
* Facilitate the implementation of Web3-native tools and practices.
* Support release management and smart contract audit processes.
* Collaborate with Product Management to align Web3 initiatives with organizational goals.
Qualifications & Skills
Required (Hard Skills)
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
* Scrum Master certification (PSM I or CSM).
* 5+ years of experience in Agile environments.
* Proven track record in remote project delivery and virtual collaboration.
* Strong knowledge of Product Backlog management and release management.
* Deep understanding of SDLC, DevOps, and operations best practices.
* Hands-on experience with collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Office 365, ClickUp, Miro).
Required (Soft Skills)
* Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching abilities.
* Strong mentoring mindset and servant leadership approach.
* Ability to thrive in fast-paced, iterative environments.
* Analytical, problem-solving mindset with focus on continuous improvement.
Bonus (Nice to Have)
* Experience in Blockchain/DLT projects, dApps, or wallet integrations.
* Additional coaching certifications (e.g., ICAgile, Management 3.0).
* Familiarity with Agile scaling frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus, etc.).
