We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist who will take ownership of forecasting and trading models at the core of our short-term trading strategies. You will develop high-performance algorithms for energy markets, balancing accuracy and speed to generate significant commercial impact.

What You Will Do * Design advanced ML models to forecast electricity supply, consumption, and market prices. * Define and monitor KPIs that link model performance to trading outcomes. * Partner with engineers to bring scalable solutions into production environments. * Develop optimization strategies for short-term and intraday trading under uncertainty. * Maintain and improve predictive pipelines for speed and reliability. * Explore emerging AI technologies to support innovation and competitiveness. * Shape the strategic direction of our analytics and trading roadmap.
What We Are Looking For * More than 12 years of professional experience in analytics and ML, including 5+ years within energy, trading, or finance. * PhD or Master’s degree in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Econometrics, or a related discipline. * Demonstrated track record of delivering data science solutions that produced measurable business value. * Strong background in regression, ensemble methods, and time-series forecasting, with hands-on experience using Scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. * In-depth knowledge of stochastic methods and quantitative optimization in uncertain environments. * Knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP preferred), Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD practices. * Strong coding abilities in Python and experience with end-to-end ML pipelines. * Able to transform complex analyses into clear business insights, fueled by a strong commitment to renewable energy and deep interest in electricity markets and trading.
