The Opportunity We’re growing fast and looking for a Junior Business Development Manager to help open new accounts and expand existing ones. You’ll learn the full sales cycle for staff augmentation / outstaffing (dedicated remote engineers and teams embedded into the client’s workflow) and project-based delivery (outsourced builds). You’ll partner closely with recruitment and delivery leadership to match client needs with the right engineers, move opportunities through the pipeline, and convert wins. What you’ll do * Prospect & qualify: Build targeted lead lists (startups to global enterprises) in priority industries; run multi-channel outreach (email, LinkedIn, calls); book discovery meetings. * Discovery & solutioning: Uncover tech stacks, team gaps, timelines, budgets, and engagement model preferences (outstaffing & project delivery). Translate needs into clear role profiles and SOW outlines for recruitment/delivery. * Pipeline management: Own early-stage funnel in the CRM; maintain accurate next steps, probabilities, and notes; prepare weekly pipeline summaries and forecasts. * Collaboration with recruiting: Align on candidate pipelines, interview schedules, and time-to-fill expectations; tune requirements with client feedback to accelerate placements. * Proposal support: Draft rate cards, capability decks, candidate one-pagers, and light SOWs; coordinate redlines for NDAs/MSAs with senior team members. * Content-assisted selling: Leverage EQWI’s industry coverage and services portfolio (custom web/mobile, DevOps, Big Data/AI, Blockchain, Cloud, QA, UI/UX) to position solutions and case snippets. * Events & networking: Attend virtual and (occasionally) on-site meetups or conferences; convert conversations into qualified opportunities. * Handover & expansion: Run smooth handoffs to Account Management; identify cross-sell opportunities as teams expand.
What you’ll bring * 0–2+ years in B2B sales, lead generation, or partnerships—ideally in IT services, software staffing/outstaffing, or SaaS. * Clear grasp of the staff augmentation/outstaffing model and how it differs from fixed-scope outsourcing. * Strong research and outreach skills; comfortable with cold outreach and booking meetings with technical and business stakeholders. * Excellent written and verbal communication; concise note-taking and follow-through. * High ownership, curiosity about technology (common stacks, cloud, QA, data, mobile), and a service mindset. * Experience with a modern CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and basic sales automation tools. * Strong conversational and written knowledge of English is required (Upper Intermediate or Fluent) * Bonus: additional languages (e.g., Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, German) or familiarity with our focus industries.
