We’re inviting a Tech Lead to join our team!
We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead (M/F) to join our dynamic and agile team in Ukraine and France. You will join a team of passionate individuals where teamwork and quality are core values, working on innovative projects in telecommunications.
About the project: NIM is an old Swiss project to maintain the configuration of antennas and cells of the radio access network of the operator. This project needs to be completely overhauled. We are building a new team to work on the specification, prepare the new architecture with our colleagues in Switzerland and code a state of the art new system.
Responsibilities: • Take ownership of key technical components and ensure their high-quality delivery. • Contribute to system architecture discussions and apply best practices in design and implementation. Refine and extend existing architectural decisions. • Select and evaluate technologies to ensure long-term product growth. • Lead and mentor the development team, providing guidance and support. • Perform code reviews and ensure clean, maintainable, and testable code. • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives). • Collaborate with Product Owner, Delivery Manager, and other stakeholders to align development with project needs. • Remain hands-on with coding.
Requirements: • 7+ years of proven experience with Java, including Java 17 or Java 21, Spring Boot 3+, Hibernate ORM; • Strong RDBMS skills, including PostgreSQL — design, implementation, and migration, working with large-scale production data; • Expertise working with microservices architecture. • Solid background in designing and developing solutions using best practices and patterns • Experience with OAuth for authentication and authorization; • Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle and Agile Development/Testing practices and methodologies • Experience with build tools (Maven), source code control (Git), containerization technologies (Docker) • Experience in SPA UI/UX with modern web technologies • Team management, complex task estimation experience • Skilled in TypeScript, JavaScript, React (is a plus) • English level — Upper-intermediate, French is a plus. • Share our values: team spirit, excellence, and curiosity • A sense of humor!
