Redhill Games, a co-dev studio, is looking for a Senior Animator to join our core game development team. You can work fully remote or onsite in Helsinki or Nicosia offices.
As a Senior Animator you will be: * Creating key frame animation as well as working with motion capture data for in-game assets while following the given style guide of our exciting co-dev projects. * Ensuring timely completion of animation commitments at the desired quality bar. * Partnering with designers, programmers and other departments involved. * Mentoring more junior members of the team * Together with the Art Manager and Animation peers setting standards for the animation work, building animation systems * Taking part in the production meetings representing the animation project team and reporting on the plans, achievements and difficulties * Working in close collaboration throughout different departments to assure propriety implementation of animations within game engines.
Requirements: * Proven experience in delivering quality player locomotion for AAA PC/Console FPS or TPS games. * At least 5 years of experience in game development with: * animating lively characters and creatures * working with motion capture and keyframe animation * working in-engine and implementing animations into locomotion systems * using Autodesk Maya * working in Unreal Engine 5/4 * rigging and being able to build a new rig for a character from scratch * mentoring the less experienced members of the team * English proficiency at least at B2 level
The ideal candidate will also have * Experience with mGear * Scripting (MEL/Python) experience
