We need Senior Node.JS/Nest.JS developer (Backend) for Product Company that develops platforms for iGaming clients to help build high-load solutions for the sports betting industry.
What you’ll do * Build and evolve backend services and APIs that power high-traffic, data-rich products. * Design and ship integrations with external providers (e.g., payment platforms, real-time data feeds). * Develop public web services and internal microservices with a focus on reliability and performance. * Contribute to platform-level technical decisions, advocating for pragmatic patterns and best practices. * Share knowledge, uphold engineering standards, and participate in code/design reviews.
What you bring * 4+ years of commercial experience with Node.js and strong TypeScript skills. * 1+ year with NestJS (or clear motivation to ramp up quickly). * Hands-on experience building REST and/or GraphQL APIs (ideally with NestJS). * Proficiency with at least one database: PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB. * Experience integrating third-party APIs/services (payments, external data providers, etc.). * Experience with message queues such as RabbitMQ or Kafka. * Solid grasp of distributed systems fundamentals. * Ability to use Redis for caching and Pub/Sub (nice to have).
Nice to have * Background in high-load systems or products with live/real-time data. * Practice with automated testing (Unit, Integration, E2E). * Familiarity with WebSocket, gRPC, or other real-time transports. * Knowledge of architectural patterns such as CQRS, Event Sourcing, DDD. * Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines. * Domain experience in transactional or regulated products (a plus, not required).
