Responsibilities
Be responsible for successful quality control of projects and support the team in meeting deadlines and milestones.
Test Planning and Design * Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases * Participate in design reviews and provide input on functional requirements, product design, schedules, and potential issues * Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Test Execution * Execute manual and automated test cases and analyze results * Perform smoke and regression testing after bug fixes * Conduct exploratory testing to identify system deficiencies * Ensure compatibility across various browsers, devices, and platforms * Investigate issues reported by customers through different channels * Familiarity with accessibility testing and WCAG standards
Performance, Accessibility, and UAT * Monitor system performance by conducting load, stress, and scalability testing * Ensure compliance with accessibility standards such as WCAG * Facilitate UAT sessions with end-users to validate usability and reliability * Join client meetings to demo features when needed
Documentation * Maintain thorough documentation of testing processes, results, and feedback * Update project management tools with relevant information * Create and maintain test infrastructure (test plans, test cases, scenarios, etc.) * Write project documentation and user guides * Contribute to QA documentation at the company level
Improvement and Reporting * Stay up to date with new testing tools and strategies * Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on usability and functionality * Report on testing progress and results to stakeholders * Communicate critical issues promptly
Requirements
Experience * 2+ years of relevant experience in QA testing of websites and web applications * Proven experience in developing and executing test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures * Experience testing projects based on Drupal, WordPress, or other CMS platforms * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Technical Proficiency * Experience with Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence) * Familiarity with test management systems such as TestRail, Xray, or Qase * Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and cross-browser testing * Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes * Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Continuous Learning * Strong attention to detail and analytical skills * Experience in reporting, prioritizing, and managing defects through resolution * Proficiency in documenting testing phases and defects * Ability to evaluate user interactions and ensure the final product meets customer needs
Nice to Have * Experience with performance and/or security testing * Certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE * Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Cypress or similar) * Experience with Google Analytics
Other Skills * Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and stakeholders * Ability to document and troubleshoot errors * Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment * Proactive mindset and ownership of QA processes
