About the company: We are looking Automation QA Engineer for Fintex Inc., which is the brainchild of a group of seasoned entrepreneurs who envisioned partnering with wealth management firms to harness technology for tackling business challenges. Their leadership boasts a rich tapestry of experiences, including ideation, building, and launching intricate digital capabilities within Canada’s premier financial institutions.
The project will focus on Portfolio and Wealth Management, client onboarding, and AI integration with banking.
Responsibilities: · Develop and implement a QA framework, establishing standard practices across the organization. · Develop, review, and execute test plans and test cases for software development projects. · Leverage AI tools to enhance QA efficiency, including AI-assisted test script generation, intelligent defect detection, and predictive quality analytics. · Conduct automated and manual tests to ensure software products meet design specifications and requirements. · Develop and maintain automated test scripts for Java and frontend technologies. · Collaborate with development teams to ensure software design and code changes are testable, maintainable, and scalable. · Establish and maintain quality standards and procedures to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations. · Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution. · Continuously improve QA processes by identifying areas for optimization and recommending new tools, approaches, and methodologies.
Requirements: · Еxperience with using AI to help them be better at work and improve quality. · 3+ years of experience in QA/testing roles. · Strong understanding of QA practices and principles, including both automation and manual testing. · Knowledge of Playwright FW and Selenium. · Experience with *Java* -based automation and frontend automation testing technologies. · Proficiency in software development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall. · Hands-on experience with testing tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium and Jasmine. · Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills. · Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. · Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
