Peratera is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and operation of our core infrastructure. You will tackle complex challenges in scalability, security, and reliability, driving best practices within a fast-paced FinTech environment focused on Open Banking solutions within the EU. You’ll play a crucial part in shaping our platform’s foundation. This is a fully remote position.
What You’ll Do: * Design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and compliant cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS, GCP, or Azure). * Lead the development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines for robustness and speed. * Architect and implement highly available, resilient, and scalable systems using Docker and Kubernetes (K8s). * Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies. * Drive automation initiatives across the engineering team using scripting (Bash, Python) and IaC (Terraform, Ansible). * Contribute significantly to infrastructure architecture decisions and technology selection. * Drive security best practices and ensure adherence to relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, PSD2). * Mentor other engineers and lead key infrastructure projects. * Troubleshoot complex production issues across the stack.
What We’re Looking For: * 5+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles, with a proven track record in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure. * Deep expertise in Kubernetes, containerisation, and microservices architecture. * Extensive experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure). * Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred, Ansible useful). * Strong experience building, securing, and managing complex CI/CD pipelines. * Expertise in monitoring, logging, and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). * Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash). * Excellent understanding of networking concepts and security principles. * Strong understanding and practical experience with security best practices and relevant compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, PSD2, PCI DSS, SOC2). * Experience in the FinTech or Open Banking sector is highly desirable. * Excellent communication skills in English. * Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives.
