We are seeking a skilled General QA Engineer for a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension with strong testing expertise to ensure the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of software testing principles.
Requirements: * 5+ years of experience as QA Engineer Manual / Automation (TypeScript, Python, etc.) * Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) * Proven experience in manual functional, UI, regression, and mobile application testing * Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or Kanban workflows * Experience with Jira or similar bug-tracking systems * Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear communication * Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset * English proficiency at B2/C1 level (Upper-Intermediate to Advanced)
Responsibilities: * Plan, execute, and document functional, UI, regression, cross-browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge), and cross-platform mobile testing (iOS & Android) * Create and maintain clear, reproducible test cases and bug reports * Log, track, and verify defects in Jira, ensuring timely resolution * Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure testability * Conduct exploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability issues * Contribute to QA process improvements and quality initiatives * (Optional) Assist with automated testing using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
