We are developing an OCR system for patent data processing, aimed at automating document analysis, quality control, and performance reporting. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the infrastructure runs efficiently and reliably, automating workflows, and optimizing system performance. You will work closely with the team to build and maintain a scalable, high-performance solution for processing both patent and non-patent documents, leveraging cloud services as the core platform.
Talent You’ll Bring Into Our Team: * Strong experience in DevOps with a focus on Azure cloud services, familiarity with AWS will be a huge plus * Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration. * Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases. * Experience in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) for automating deployment and testing. * Strong familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), especially Terraform for provisioning cloud infrastructure. * Experience with Git, and a good understanding of Agile methodologies * Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to ensure infrastructure reliability, scalability, and performance optimization. * Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English for effective communication within the team.
Nice-to-have skills: * Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP. * Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI and Jenkins. * Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible. * Knowledge of Job Runners like Kafka or RabbitMQ for managing distributed systems. * Familiarity with task scheduling and workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow. * A basic understanding of algorithms, data structures, and performance optimization techniques.
Responsibilities: * Set up, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure to support the OCR processing pipeline. * Automate deployment, scaling, and testing by managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI. * Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for efficient containerization and orchestration of application services. * Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for provisioning cloud resources and Ansible for automating configuration management. * Monitor system performance, ensuring the infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and optimized for efficiency. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between infrastructure and application components.
