We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team at Calaton Systems.
Responsibilities: * Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to facilitate efficient software delivery. * Supporting infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar. * Collaborating with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications. * Monitoring system performance and reliability, and implementing optimization strategies. * Troubleshooting issues across the entire stack. * Implementing security best practices at every level of the infrastructure and application stack. * Staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps and cloud computing.
Requirements: * 4+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role. * Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, Java, JavaScript, or similar. * Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef, including Linux administration, Nginx configuration. * Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. * Hands-on experience with Amazon ECS (Elastic Container Service) for deploying, managing, and scaling containerized applications. * Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with additional experience in DigitalOcean (similar to AWS). * Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including experience with CDN configuration (e.g., Amazon CloudFront). * Experience with GitHub and GitLab, with a preference for GitLab CI/CD. * Familiarity with Cloudflare is a plus. * Experience in installation and configuration of OpenVPN. * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. * English proficiency at Intermediate level, with the ability to communicate effectively.
