Currently, we are looking to add a Power BI Developer to our team. This position could be fully remote.
Responsibilities * Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations * Write efficient SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from SQL Server databases * Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into effective data models and visualizations. * Optimize data models and DAX measures for enhanced performance. * Implement data quality checks to ensure report accuracy. * Stay current with the latest Power BI features and best practices.
Requirements * 3+ years of experience with Power BI development * Strong proficiency in SQL, particularly with Microsoft SQL Server * Experience in writing complex and efficient SQL queries * Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices * Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for creating measures and calculated columns * Strong data analysis skills with the ability to turn raw data into meaningful insights * Experience with data visualization techniques and best practices * Strong soft skills, including attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills * Upper-Intermediate English level
Would be a plus * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field * Experience with other Microsoft BI tools (e.g., SSAS, SSIS) * Knowledge of M language for advanced data transformations in Power Query * Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) * Experience with agile development methodologies * Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
