Axon is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join a fast-growing Construction Tech product that is transforming the way construction sites operate. By leveraging IoT technologies and real-time data analytics, our platform captures data from on-site devices, including weight sensors, GPS, gyroscopes, and cameras, to generate actionable insights. These insights empower construction teams to make informed decisions, boost productivity, and enhance safety. As we scale our operations, we’re seeking skilled engineers to help us strengthen our data infrastructure and deliver smarter, data-driven construction solutions.
We’re expanding our engineering team and looking for talented people to help us scale our data infrastructure and deliver smarter construction solutions.
The current team includes 3 QA engineers, partnering with 3 development teams across R&D. What you need for this position * About 4+ years of experience as a manual QA tester in an agile work environment; * Experience in both backend and frontend testing, including web and mobile platforms; * Knowledge of End-to-End testing, API, and backend testing methodologies; * Experience in testing end-user-facing systems; * Experience working with SQL databases; * Cloud-based services experience (preferably AWS); * Experience with Postman * Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and technical skills; * Some familiarity with automated testing concepts is an advantage; * Upper-Intermediate level of English.
Nice to have * Experience in a SaaS company/startup, 1:5 QA vs Dev; * Experience with REST API testing using platforms such as Postman.
What you will be doing: * Ensure end-to-end quality throughout the product lifecycle, from initial product specification to deployment and monitoring; * Plan, design, and execute comprehensive test cases to validate product functionality and performance; * Define and maintain detailed regression tests to ensure the stability of the product with each release; * Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Design, and Customer-Facing teams to ensure product quality, usability, and a seamless user experience; * Play a key role in defining and optimizing development and testing processes to continuously improve product quality.
