About the Project We’re building a modern cloud-based application for a global client who offers coverage and insurance services to vessel owners, operators, and charterers worldwide. The platform is designed to support both new cloud-native modules and legacy on-premises systems, with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and performance. Responsibilities * Develop backend services using .NET 8 and Azure Functions * Design and maintain REST APIs * Integrate cloud services with existing on-premises systems built on .NET Framework 4.8 * Work with Azure Cosmos DB, Service Bus, Web PubSub, and other Azure components * Ensure observability and logging via AppInsights and ELMAH * Participate in CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps * Contribute to technical decisions around architecture and infrastructure * Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including DevOps, frontend, and QA * Develop and maintain frontend applications using Angular (v12+)
Requirements * 3+ years of experience with .NET (Core or 8) * Solid InRule experience * Good SQL knowledge * Experience with Microsoft Azure (Functions, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, etc.) * Solid understanding of REST API design and implementation * Knowledge of event-driven architecture * Experience with message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus) * Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps preferred) * Ability to work with both cloud and on-premises systems * Experience with Angular * Understanding of SPA architecture and frontend-backend integration via REST APIs
