Axon is looking for an experienced Python Engineer to join an AI-powered knowledge platform that helps organizations capture, scale, and preserve expert knowledge, making it accessible and reliable across teams. What you need for this position: * 5+ years of experience with Python and Django; * Hands-on experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL; * Solid knowledge of Docker; * Familiarity with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code); * Experience working with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS; * Upper-Intermediate English proficiency.
What you will be doing: * Designing and developing server-side logic using Python and Django; * Collaborating closely with the CPTO, project manager, and frontend developers to enhance existing features and deliver new functionality; * Building reusable, maintainable backend components for future scalability; * Ensuring optimal application performance, scalability, and security; * Managing infrastructure and deployments using Docker, Terraform, and AWS; * Working autonomously in a task-driven, self-managed environment.
