Ciklum is looking for a Middle Back-End Developer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:
As a Middle Back-End Developer become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. You'll join a small, high-impact R&D team building a modern SaaS platform for continuous cybersecurity risk monitoring from the ground up. Expect mentoring, autonomy, and exposure to product-driven development.
Responsibilities: * Build and maintain backend services using TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and more * Contribute to infrastructure, performance tuning, and system reliability * Collaborate with frontend and backend developers to deliver end-to-end features * Participate in code reviews, planning sessions, and architecture discussions
Requirements: * 2–3 years of backend development experience * Proficiency with Node.js/TypeScript and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Drizzle) * Familiarity with frontend technologies (preferably React) * Solid understanding of REST APIs and basic DevOps practices * Experience working on cybersecurity, compliance, or risk-related platforms — a Plus * Exposure to LLM integration, prompt engineering, or event-driven workflows (e.g,. Temporal) — a Plus * Mindset: Eagerness to learn, ownership, and startup agility. A proactive contributor and strong team player * Proficient verbal and written English
