We are looking for a proactive and independent Senior Manual QA Specialist who will take full ownership of quality assurance processes and drive improvements across the team. You will be responsible for building robust QA practices, ensuring high-quality releases, and collaborating closely with development and product teams. Requirements:
— 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance — Skilled in writing comprehensive test plans and test cases, including smoke and regression testing — Hands-on experience with functional, exploratory, end-to-end, and UI testing — Proficient in testing tools such as TestRail, BrowserStack, LambdaTest, and Postman — Experienced with issue tracking and documentation tools like Jira and Confluence — Strong understanding of web technologies and protocols (HTTP, RESTful APIs, JSON, cookies, sessions, client-server architecture) — Solid API testing experience using Postman or SoapUI — Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash) for data validation, log analysis, and test environment setup — Familiar with CI/CD concepts and integrating QA into pipelines — Able to analyze logs using ELK stack or Grafana to troubleshoot issues — Working knowledge of Docker and deployment environments — Basic SQL knowledge and experience with Linux console or OS X terminal — Upper-intermediate English proficiency or higher (mandatory) — Proven ability to establish QA processes and drive continuous improvement — Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
Responsibilities:
— Take full ownership of QA processes, establishing best practices and ensuring consistent quality — Develop and execute manual test cases based on project requirements — Log and track defects using designated tools, providing clear reproduction steps — Perform various testing types, including smoke, regression, functional, exploratory, non-functional, and UI testing — Create and maintain checklists, test plans, and user workflows — Collaborate with development and product teams to report progress and issues — Contribute to quality improvements and continuously enhance the QA strategy
Would be a plus:
— Knowledge of any programming language — Experience with automated testing — Experience with security testing (BIG plus) — Record of working in a product-based environment — Computer science degree or similar educational background
