We’re looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager to drive lead generation across Website, Upwork, Outreach, and Events — and power our sales team with top-tier content, positioning, and analytics.
You’ll own the full marketing funnel, shape our brand presence, and work side-by-side with Sales and the CEO to turn strategy into pipeline and pipeline into deals.
Day-to-day tasks/ Responsibilities:
1. Multi-Channel Lead Generation
— Develop and execute a marketing strategy to generate qualified leads from multiple channels: Website, Upwork, Outbound (LinkedIn/email), and Conferences. — Optimize website content, structure, SEO, and UX to drive inbound traffic and increase form submissions. — Collaborate with the Upwork team to maintain a high-converting agency profile, improve visual content, and support strategic positioning to attract invites and boost proposal win rates. — Coordinate outbound campaign assets for SDRs: write and test LinkedIn/email messages, follow-up sequences, and landing pages tailored to ICP segments. — Support preparation and lead capture efforts for conferences and events: messaging, collateral, contact enrichment, and post-event follow-up strategy.
2. Funnel Ownership & Channel Analytics
— Maintain and update a multi-channel marketing funnel dashboard to track top-to-bottom performance (Traffic → Lead → MQL → SQL → Deal). — Analyze performance by channel (Website, Upwork, Outreach, Conferences) including conversion rates, lead quality, and CAC. — Continuously run A/B tests on messaging, positioning, landing pages, and outreach sequences to improve conversion at each stage. — Present actionable insights and recommendations at weekly Marketing+Sales syncs.
3. Sales Enablement
— Prepare and maintain sales enablement assets: pitch decks, case studies, one-pagers, proposals, and objection-handling templates. — Collaborate with the sales and leadgen teams to align on messaging, industry segmentation, and campaign content. — Create and maintain templates for discovery calls, follow-up emails, and proposals. — Ensure Upwork, Clutch, DesignRush, and other listings reflect current positioning, services, and portfolio.
4. Positioning & Brand Development
— Develop and evolve the company’s value proposition, tone of voice, and key messaging aligned with CEO and company strategy. — Maintain visual and messaging consistency across all marketing and sales materials. — Work with the designer to ensure high-quality visual identity across website, presentations, and social channels. — Coordinate sourcing and publishing of client reviews, testimonials, and Clutch case studies.
5. Content & Social Media Management
— Prepare social media posts and stories for the CEO (LinkedIn, Instagram): planning, writing, and publishing. — Coordinate or write blog posts, newsletters, and guest articles aligned with ICP pain points and keywords. — Manage and grow WeSoftYou’s Upwork and B2B marketplace content strategy. — Assist with podcast ideation and post-production workflows when relevant.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Management
— Lead the weekly Marketing+Sales sync: ensure full alignment across campaigns, events, leadgen, and follow-ups. — Act as the point of contact for external contractors (designers, writers, PR) and internal collaborators (SDRs, Sales, CEO). — Maintain internal SOPs, documentation, and playbooks for repeatable campaign workflows. — Coordinate pre-event, in-event, and post-event marketing activities with Ops and Sales.
Job Requirements:
— 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing in IT (outsourcing/product/agency) company. — Proven track record of driving qualified leads via website, outbound campaigns, Upwork, and events. — Strong experience working side-by-side with Sales, SDRs, and Founders to create pipeline-generating campaigns. — Hands-on experience crafting and testing outbound messaging (LinkedIn/email), sequences, ICP-based landing pages. — Ability to own and optimize the marketing funnel from traffic to SQLs and opportunities (multi-channel attribution). — Experience managing website conversion flows — from content to forms to follow-up — Skilled in preparing sales enablement materials: decks, one-pagers, proposals, objection-handling assets. — Deep understanding of ICP pain points and ability to translate them into high-converting content (blogs, cases, LinkedIn posts). — Strong analytical mindset: confident working with funnel metrics, lead quality tracking, and campaign performance reviews. — Advanced written English.
