We’re Aircon AI, a US-based SaaS startup on a mission to modernize global air cargo. Our product is a Transportation Management System (TMS) for international air freight, complex business logic, real-time integrations, pricing engines, and LLM-powered tools. We’re not building a dashboard with pretty charts. We’re building infrastructure.
We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who can go deep, think in systems, and write code that solves real-world logistics problems.
What you’ll actually be doing: * Build backend features that matter * Design APIs and data flows for freight carriers, brokers, and ops teams * Own your logic end-to-end: from spec to production * Collaborate directly with our CTO (US) and a fast-growing, no-nonsense team * Write clear, tested, maintainable TypeScript, because it needs to work under load.
Tech stack: * TypeScript (across the stack) * NestJS, TypeORM, PostgreSQL * React, MUI (frontend is secondary, but you’ll touch it) * AWS: Lambda, ECS, CDK * Jest, Playwright for testing * Experience in Ruby, Java, Python, or C#? Cool. As long as you’re strong with systems and willing to commit to TypeScript in prod — we’re good.
