About the Role
We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our Data Science team. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality deliverables by executing comprehensive testing strategies and collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and designers.
Role Responsibilities: * Analyze project documentation to understand business and technical requirements * Perform functional and non-functional testing (web, mobile, agentic services) * Test API endpoints and data flows within services managed by DS team * Test frontend and backend processes during interactions with DS services * Validate prompt responses, agent workflows, and conversation logic * Identify inconsistencies, hallucinations, or undesired behaviors in LLM outputs * Collaborate with ML engineers, product managers, and UX designers to improve AI reliability and user satisfaction. * Conduct performance and latency testing for AI model inference and responses. * Conduct product regression and release testing * Identify, document, and track software bugs * Provide clear reporting on testing progress and results * Participate in planning, decomposition, and refinement * Stay up-to-date with LLM capabilities, limitations, benchmarking, quality metrics and testing tools
Required Skills & Experience: * 3+ years of experience in functional and non-functional testing * Hands-on experience testing AI systems, chatbots, or LLM-based tools * Familiarity with prompt engineering and model evaluation techniques * Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes * Experience in API testing and using REST client tools * Familiarity with HTML, XML, SQL, and web technologies * Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, TestRail, or similar tools * Advanced English level (C1)
Would a Plus: * Languages: French, German, Spanish * Knowledge of programming basics and automation * Experience with test automation frameworks (Pytest, Selenium) * Experience with AWS, GIT, and test plans * Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
