We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Engineering Manager to lead distributed teams, raise technical standards, and ensure world-class delivery across our project portfolio. You will be a playing-coach — someone who leads by example, provides hands-on guidance, and drives the culture of engineering excellence. RequirementsWho you are: * 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years of engineering leadership * Proven experience managing cross-functional engineering teams in consulting, outsourcing, or fast-paced product environments * You care deeply about growing people. You take pride in helping engineers advance their careers and become technical leaders. * Deep Technical Acumen: Strong background in software development, architecture, and system design, with the ability to dive into technical details when necessary. * Strong knowledge of two or more technologies (e.g., Node.js, Java, .NET, Python, Go, etc.) * Deep understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) * Experience working on or integrating AI/ML solutions is a strong plus, especially in client-facing or product-driven environments * Ability to understand software architecture patterns, contribute to, and guide the evolution of complex system architectures. * Demonstrated ability to introduce and scale engineering standards, tooling, and quality practices * Understanding the intersection between engineering decisions and business outcomes — you are able to balance short-term delivery with long-term value creation for both Intellectsoft and clients. * Experienced in scaling teams, evolving processes, and introducing change in dynamic, growth-oriented environments. * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, enabling clear and effective interaction with international clients and team members. * Highly adaptable, skilled at leading through ambiguity and rapid change while maintaining team alignment, stability, and focus on top priorities. * Decisive in uncertainty, confident in navigating trade-offs and incomplete information, with a pragmatic and forward-thinking mindset. * Naturally collaborative, fosters cross-functional teamwork, breaks down silos, and champions a unified, solution-focused approach to drive innovation and impact.

Delivery & Process Ownership * Ensure delivery of high-quality software on time and within scope * Promote agile principles and continuous delivery across teams * Collaborate with product, design, and delivery management to align on goals and priorities * Lead and refine the technical hiring process, from defining requirements to final interviews * Drive consistent, fair, and predictive technical interviews that align with real-world scenarios * Partner with Talent Acquisition to grow a top-tier engineering network * Own and evolve technical onboarding and internal mentorship programs
Client Engagement & Stakeholder Communication * Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients, supporting discussions on architecture, roadmap, and delivery * Shaping delivery strategies at pre-sales stages (estimations, architecture and process approach, shaping engagement models and team compositions) * Conduct strategic sessions with VP/CTO/CPO client stakeholders
