We are seeking a Head of PMO / Senior Project Manager to lead our Project Management Office and drive continuous improvements in project delivery excellence across the organization. This role combines hands-on project leadership with strategic oversight, focusing on formalizing and optimizing project management practices to ensure effectiveness, scalability, and profitability. You will be responsible for both managing key projects and building a strong PM function within the company. The ideal candidate is a systems thinker with deep expertise in project and process management, capable of mentoring PMs, driving cross-departmental initiatives, and ensuring consistent delivery quality across the portfolio. Required skills Education & Experience
— Higher education, preferably in management, engineering, or related fields — 6+ years of experience in IT, including 2+ years in project management and 3+ years in managerial roles skills — Advanced knowledge of project and process management methodologies — Proficiency in task tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, ClickUp, etc.) — Strong leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills — Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills — Analytical mindset and system thinking — Experience in managing and leading managerial teams (10+ people) — Familiarity with KPI-driven team and project performance management — Experience in scaling project management practices in a growing company — Upper-Intermediate English or higher Would be a plus — Technical background or experience in software engineering — Experience in presales or solution design Responsibilities PMO Leadership and Strategy — Own the development, formalization, and optimization of the company’s project management framework — Drive standardization of processes, templates, tools, and reporting practices across all projects — Maintain and evolve PMO documentation in SharePoint and Confluence — Ensure strategic alignment of PMO operations with company-wide goals
Project Oversight and Governance — Oversee the project portfolio: maintain project register, track metrics, and ensure process adherence — Conduct regular project audits to ensure compliance with PM standards and identify improvement areas — Serve as escalation point for complex delivery issues — Control project health and take proactive steps to mitigate risks
Delivery Ownership — Personally manage key projects from initiation to successful delivery — Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders — Establish and manage SDLC processes from scratch — Ensure on-time and in-scope project execution with focus on business value
Team Management and Development — Hire, mentor, and grow the Project Management team — Drive the development of the internal PM community and knowledge sharing — Provide coaching to PMs and coordinators, increasing their technical and leadership competencies
Cross-Functional Collaboration — Work closely with Delivery Managers, Pre-Sale, Engineering, Design, HR, and executive leadership — Support strategic projects and cross-company initiatives — Provide input to corporate strategy through project insights
