We’re looking for a proactive and self-driven macOS Engineer to join our flagship product team — CleanMyMac.
CleanMyMac is an all-in-one Mac cleaner and maintenance app that handles junk, duplicates, malware, and performance issues, making MacBooks extra efficient and impeccably clean.
This role is great for someone who’s curious, proactive, and has a product-focused mindset. You’ll be involved in shaping features from idea to implementation, so expect a fair bit of communication, questioning decisions (yours and others), and diving into new, sometimes unexpected topics. It’s a place where learning never really stops.

In this role, you will: * Work closely with the Product, Design, and Analytics teams to craft new features * Improve and optimize existing app functionality and modules * Conduct research to understand the users’ issues and ways to fix them * Fix user-critical bugs and provide support for our Customer Support team * Work on monetization-related tasks such as integrating new pricing plans and subscriptions * Test and validate new monetization strategies and plan configurations * Provide meaningful feedback in the code reviews and technical discussions
Skills you’ll need to bring: * 3+ years of macOS/iOS development experience with proven production operations * Strong knowledge of Swift * Strong knowledge of essential macOS/iOS frameworks (AppKit/UIKit, Cocoa/CocoaTouch, SwiftUI, etc) * Strong understanding of macOS/iOS system structure (bundles/packages, app bundle structure, important locations, sandboxing, agent/daemon, etc.) * Understanding of macOS/iOS dependency management (SPM, frameworks) * Understanding of the most popular architecture patterns like MVC, MVVM, and Clean Architecture * Experience with unit and UI testing frameworks * Intermediate or higher English proficiency (written and spoken)
As a plus: * Hands-on experience with Objective-C * Knowledge of advanced debugging tools and techniques * Understanding of System Design architectures * Understanding of the software delivery lifecycle * Knowledge in CI/CD, Shell scripting, Azure Pipelines, and GitHub Actions * Solid understanding of macOS and/or other operating system
