We are seeking a self-driven DevOps Engineer to join a cross-platform product team in the Rust/Desktop domain. This is a hands-on role involving greenfield infrastructure setup and direct collaboration with client stakeholders. Responsibilities: * Set up infrastructure from scratch for a Rust/Desktop-based application. * Define, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure (preferably using AWS CDK or equivalent IaC tools). * Own and manage DevOps processes across environments. * Communicate directly with client-side stakeholders (3 total), present updates, and defend architectural decisions. * Collaborate with cross-functional team members: BA, SA, PM, designers, and developers (macOS, iOS, Windows, Rust). * Navigate product-oriented development with a mindset for ownership, adaptability, and iterative delivery. * Handle communication in an environment with a certain level of micromanagement, while maintaining transparency and professionalism.
Requirements: * 4+ years of hands-on DevOps experience. * Strong background in AWS and Infrastructure-as-Code (AWS CDK experience is a plus, or willingness to ramp up quickly). * Experience in setting up infrastructure for desktop applications or similar environments is a plus. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak directly with clients, propose and defend solutions. * Proven experience launching infrastructure from the ground up. * Product mindset with a proactive attitude and ability to work independently. * English: Upper-Intermediate or higher for direct client communication.
