We are currently seeking an Internal Events Manager based in Kyiv to help organize our monthly Frontline Cafe events and the annual Ukraine Freedom Summit in Washington, D.C. If you are passionate about Ukraine, skilled in bringing people together, and eager to help create meaningful events that drive real impact, we would love to hear from you. Key Requirements: * Experience in event management, operations, or program coordination, ideally in the non-profit, political, cultural, or international cooperation sector; * Strong organizational and multitasking skills; * Excellent communication skills in Ukrainian and English; * Strong cultural and political awareness of Ukrainian society and key figures, or a strong motivation to learn; * Ability to work independently while maintaining close collaboration with remote international teams; * Passion for the mission of The Borderlands Foundation and support for Ukrainian veterans.
Key Responsibilities: * Plan and coordinate monthly Frontline Cafe events in Kyiv, ensuring smooth logistics, meaningful programming, and high attendee engagement; * Support the planning and execution of the annual Summit of The Borderlands Foundation in Washington, DC, including timeline tracking, speaker coordination, travel arrangements, and internal communications; * Organize additional internal events and gatherings as needed (e.g. team retreats, donor visits, small-scale roundtables); * Manage vendor relationships, venue bookings, catering, and all on-the-ground logistics in Ukraine; * Work closely with U.S.-based and local teams to ensure event goals align with broader organizational objectives; * Contribute to building an inclusive and politically aware event environment for veterans, volunteers, and international allies.
