The Borderlands Foundation is supporting our partner company, James Cook Media, in their search for a talented designer to join their international creative team.
James Cook Media is a full-service digital marketing agency that builds end-to-end digital marketing and sales funnels to help you reach your customers anywhere in the world.
We are seeking a hands-on UX/UI Designer who excels at creating intuitive and visually appealing user experiences and is also prepared to implement these designs directly using tools like Go High Level (GHL) and other web builders. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our product and AI teams to support both internal brands and client projects. Required Skills: * 2+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio; * Strong practical experience with GHL (Go High Level) or similar no-code/low-code builders; * Ability to turn design concepts into functional, cleanly built web pages; * Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch; * Understanding of how AI can interact with content/layouts (or willingness to learn); * Ability to work independently and manage your own time and tasks.
Nice to Have: * Experience working with AI-powered design or optimization tools * Familiarity with HTML/CSS (even at a basic level) * Previous work on landing pages, sales funnels, or conversion-optimized design * UX research or usability testing experience * Knowledge of branding and design systems.
Responsibilities: * Design and optimize user interfaces and user flows for web-based products; * Implement and refine layouts directly in GHL or other website builders; * Support AI-driven page training by structuring content and layouts to align with AI best practices; * Collaborate with developers to ensure design intent is preserved in the code; * Build and maintain UX/UI standards; * Help improve and update client projects by cleaning up page design, layout, and structure; * Create clean, scalable wireframes and prototypes in Figma (or similar tools); * Design marketing print collateral such as brochures, business cards, and pitch decks; * Create logos and basic brand identity elements when needed.
