SoftPeak is looking for a PHP Backend Developer (Laravel) with a deep expertise in designing scalable software solutions, and ensuring successful project execution.
Requirements: * 4+ years commercial experience with PHP (Laravel) * Strong skills in SQL and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), including schema design and query optimization * Experience designing RESTful APIs and implementing secure authentication (OAuth2, JWT), role-based access control, and multi-tenant systems * Integration with external APIs and services (payments, calendar, conferencing, cloud storage, etc.) * Experience monitoring and optimizing production systems for scalability and uptime (cloud and on-premise) * English level B2
Nice to have: * Experience supporting on-premise deployments and private cloud environment * Mobile API integration (Flutter) * Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines * Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1), GDPR, PCI-DSS, and SaaS licensing * Mobile API integration (Flutter) * Experience in EdTech, event management, or learning management systems
Responsibilities: * Develop backend features (Laravel) for web and mobile clients * Build, maintain, and document RESTful APIs supporting high-volume usage, multi-tenancy, and third-party integrations * Implement and maintain secure authentication, authorization, and audit logging features * Integrate and manage external APIs (payment gateways, conferencing, calendar, storage) * Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability for both SaaS and on-premise clients * Collaborate in Agile teams, participate in architecture and code reviews, and contribute to technical documentation
