We are seeking a motivated and goal-oriented Business Analyst/Quality Assurance Engineer to join our development team.
The product guides buyers through the complex steps of purchasing a property and connects them with trusted advisors to help secure a mortgage, obtain insurance, and manage all the necessary legal paperwork.
Requirements * At least 1+ year of commercial experience in business analysis; * Upper-intermediate level of English; * Understanding of Agile methodologies; * Experience in writing user stories and acceptance criteria; * Great communication skills and ability to work well with teams in different time zones; * Strong self-management — can plan and complete tasks independently; * Able to switch between tasks and manage priorities effectively; * Flexible and adaptable to changes; * Good knowledge of software development life cycle and some understanding of quality assurance practices; * Knowledge of JIRA or a similar bug tracking system; * Good at problem-solving and clarifying details when needed; * Attention to detail while maintaining a clear view of the big picture; * Ability to travel internationally for individual client meetings.
Nice to have * Experience working with financial or fintech products; * Experience with Google Sheets and Excel, as well as Confluence; * Experience with browser dev.tools.
Responsibilities * Work closely with product owners, designers, and developers to understand product goals; * Support the team in gathering and documenting product requirements; * Help write simple user stories and acceptance criteria with guidance from the team; * Join team meetings such as sprint planning, stand-ups, etc.; * Assist in organizing tasks and priorities, and learn how to spot key dependencies; * Keep documentation updated in tools like Confluence and track work in Jira; * Ask clarifying questions to ensure a clear understanding of tasks and expectations; * Stay organized while working across different products and shifting priorities; * Manual testing of web and mobile applications; * Participate in creating various test cases and checklists.
