About Project Stepico is proud to contribute to the national-scale marketing initiative for Ukrainian fantasy IP rooted in local history and mythology. The project is launched in collaboration with one of the largest retail chains in Ukraine, with thousands of stores nationwide.
This is a hybrid project that combines digital marketing and real-world trading mechanics, designed to create a meaningful cultural impact while driving measurable retail engagement.
Stepico’s involvement includes: * Designing a full roster of 2D characters, which appear as collectible physical cards distributed across end client’s stores, functioning as a TCG (trading card game). * Producing 2D character animations, adding depth and emotion to the fantasy narrative. * Developing a trading card game connected to the official retailer’s app, enhancing the customer experience and encouraging deeper interaction with the brand.
The project will leverage technologies such as Unity and .NET to deliver a seamless and immersive experience for players. Requirements * Minimum of 4-5 years of experience * Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. * Proficiency in test case management tools (TestRail, etc.). * Working knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., C#, Python). * Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile practices. * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI).
Main Responsibilities Test Strategy & Planning * Design and maintain comprehensive test strategies for projects. * Develop test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on requirements, specifications, and user stories. * Identify key testing milestones and risks.
Execution of Manual and Automated Tests * Conduct thorough manual testing of features and content. * Lead or contribute to automation framework development, including scripting test cases using appropriate tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright (if applicable).or custom tools in Unity or Unreal). * Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar. * Performance testing * Working with http requests (REST, websocket) * Ensure coverage across functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
Bug Management & Reporting * Log, track, and verify bugs in a structured and detailed manner (typically using JIRA, etc.). * Analyze defects and their root causes; help prioritize based on severity and project timeline. * Communicate effectively with developers and designers to resolve issues.
Cross-Functional Collaboration * Collaborate closely with developers, game designers, producers, and other departments. * Participate in scrum ceremonies, sprint reviews, and planning sessions. * Ensure QA requirements and timelines are aligned with overall project goals.
Tooling & Process Improvement * Suggest and implement process improvements (e.g., test automation, CI/CD integration, metrics tracking). * Customize and maintain internal QA tools or frameworks. * Champion quality ownership across the team.
