We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join a project for a Swedish AI company that’s transforming retail security. The company develops real-time video intelligence solutions powered by Video Language Models (VLMs) — enabling natural language interaction with surveillance cameras for theft detection and incident management.
They’re already working with major grocery retailers in Sweden and are backed by strong funding. We’re helping them find an experienced engineer to join their product team on a contract basis. Project Scope: * Build full-stack AI-powered applications and dashboards * Integrate VLM models into real-time retail environments * Develop web (React) and mobile (React Native) interfaces * Design backend infrastructure and APIs (Python, Node.js) * Work with AI components including prompting, function calling, RAG * Contribute to data pipelines, DevOps, and CI/CD automation
Other tools: * Docker, Git, CI/CD * React Native (Expo) * ETL / Data Pipelines * AI/LLM experience: prompting, function calling, RAG
Requirements: * 4+ years of experience as a full-stack developer * Experience integrating or working with AI models (or strong interest in doing so) * Experience with both frontend and backend * Mobile app experience (React Native) is a plus * Upper-Intermediate English or higher * Availability within European time zones
