We are looking for a Middle+/Senior Specialist for a US fintech project that is creating an innovative mobile app for automated investing. The product combines machine learning and financial expertise to help users effectively manage their capital, track net income, build investment portfolios for different goals, and optimize their tax burden. Responsibilities: * Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines to support data integration from various sources (APIs, databases, etc.). * Work with large datasets and complex queries using PostgreSQL and SQL-based tools. * Collaborate with Data Science and Product teams to provide clean, reliable data for analytics and model training. * Develop and optimize data models and data warehouse structures to support BI dashboards and reporting. * Work within AWS infrastructure to build, deploy, and manage data workflows and services. * Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across systems.
Requirements: * 3+ years of experience as a Data/BI Engineer in a production environment. * Strong programming skills in Python, with experience using data/ML libraries like NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow or PyTorch. * Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL) and strong understanding of relational databases. * Experience in building and maintaining ETL pipelines. * Hands-on experience with AWS (certifications as Solutions Architect, Data Engineer, or Developer are a plus). * Solid foundation in data science principles and working closely with data scientists.
Nice to Have: * Experience with Docker and/or Terraform. * Understanding of ML model deployment and monitoring. * Previous experience in FinTech, Crypto, or Financial domains.
