Responsibilities * Maintain and develop internal infrastructure * Evaluate system performance and troubleshoot issues in order to optimize infrastructure for maximum efficiency, security and uptime * Manage and support storage solutions * Improve automation and streamline system administration workflows * Implement and maintain system security measures, including user access controls * Work with various teams to translate organizational needs into infrastructure solutions * Evaluate new technologies and tools that could enhance system performance and efficiency
Requirements * Relevant Linux/Unix Administration background * Advanced experience with Virtualization system: VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, Proxmox * Solid knowledge of network security concepts, including firewall configuration, VPN setup, and intrusion detection systems * Install, configure, and maintain network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers * Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols and technologies * Experience with system and network monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios) to ensure infrastructure performance * Solid understanding of clustering technologies and high availability configurations (e.g., failover clusters, load balancing, redundancy)
Will be a plus * Atlassian Product Administration Experience * Experience of configuring Jira for use in non-software environments, e.g. HR onboarding, offboarding, finance, procurement, etc
