We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer with expertise in Python (primarily Django) and React to join a dynamic team of our partner, Pypestream. Please note that this is not an outstaffing position. The contract will be directly with Pypestream.
Pypestream is a Conversational AI platform built for scale, designed to help customer-centric enterprises navigate the digital age with “always-on” automation. We aim to elevate customer experiences with a full-stack platform, military-grade security, and the only patented B2C messaging carrier, engineered to handle any volume. Qualifications * 6-10 years of experience in software development/engineering; * 6-10 years of experience writing production-level Python (Django) and React code; * Strong experience with full-stack development, including both backend (Python, Django) and frontend (React) technologies; * Solid understanding of state management, component lifecycle, and hooks in React; * Strong understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and related technologies; * Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD); * Proficiency with Git and version control systems; * Fluent in English, with strong communication skills, both written and verbal; * Ability to work independently, solve problems creatively, and work well in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Nice to have * Experience with machine learning algorithms or AI-based development; * Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud); * Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies; * Experience working in a messaging/chatbot or customer service automation environment.
What you’ll be doing? * Lead small to mid-sized engineering projects while also being a highly productive individual contributor; * Write modern, high-quality frontend/full-stack glue code connecting backend and frontend systems, including Python-based backend logic and React frontend code * Focus on the “back of the frontend” application/business logic, ensuring seamless integration between Python (Django) and React systems; * Take shared responsibility in code reviews and collaborate in solving problems; * Contribute to improving automated testing coverage (unit, E2E, VRT); * Build and maintain modern frontend and backend applications, reusable components/utilities, and services within the frontend monorepo; * Collaborate cross-team (with other frontend/full-stack engineers, design, and product teams); * Provide feedback on design (Figma) comps and product requirement documents; break down and define the work (for self and delegation); * Help your team write better, more maintainable code&
