Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Power BI Developer with a strong background in data visualization, semantic modeling, and SQL development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Power BI development within a CI/CD environment, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and automated BI solutions.
Key Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights. * Build and maintain semantic models using Power BI datasets and Analysis Services. * Implement CI/CD pipelines for Power BI solutions using tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. * Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance. * Optimize DAX queries and data models for performance and scalability. * Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data visualizations. * Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are met. * Conduct unit testing and participate in peer code reviews. * Provide support and training to end-users and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * 5+ years of experience in Power BI development. * Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power Query (M). * Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines for BI deployments (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git). * Deep understanding of semantic models, star/snowflake schemas, and data warehousing concepts. * Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. * Strong knowledge of DAX for calculated columns, measures, and KPIs. * Experience with Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse) is a plus. * Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
