We’re looking for a Tech Lead who’s a coder at heart, thrives on and React (essential) and Node.js (acceptable), and can inspire a small crew of 2–4 devs while chatting tech with the business. What You’ll Do: * Lead the Tech Charge: Design scalable microservices and event-driven systems using React, Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL or MongoDB, ensuring they’re rock-solid and ready to grow. * Get Hands-On: Spend 40% of your time coding, reviewing code, and solving tough tech challenges alongside your team. * Mentor & Manage: Guide 2–4 engineers (60% of your role), fostering a fun, collaborative vibe where everyone learns and shines. * Own DevOps: Set up CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines), automate infra with Terraform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and keep environments humming. * Bridge Tech & Business: Work with Product Managers and Design Leads to align tech with startup goals, refining roadmaps and pitching solutions in pre-sales discussions. * Ensure Quality: Drive code reviews and testing (using Playwright for E2E) to deliver flawless products on time.
What We’re Looking For: * 5+ years building web apps, with 3+ years rocking React (Next.js is a plus) and Node.js * 2+ years leading teams, mentoring devs, or owning tech decisions. * Experience designing microservices, GraphQL or REST APIs, and architecting systems from scratch. * Hands-on with GCP (or similar clouds like AWS) and CI/CD setup (Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitLab). * Comfortable automating infra with Terraform or similar tools. * Clear English (B2+) and a knack for explaining tech to non-tech folks in pre-sales or business chats. * A leader who sparks collaboration and keeps the team pumped. * Nice-to-Have: * Played with React Native, tRPC, Material UI, or Playwright. * Built startups or worked in healthtech/fintech. * Familiar with Kubernetes, Docker, or AI/ML integration.
